World Food Day

Feast2Feed's annual activities are centered around the United Nation's World Food Day, October 16th.  We kicked off back in 2005 with The Pink Diamond Ball held on the 8th of October in Sydney. At this fundraising gala volunteers raised monies used to fund a sustainable agriculture project at The Sunrise Childrens Villages in Cambodia which are presently underway.

On this momentous occassion, Tim Ball was awarded Volunteer of the Year, and he and Britt Le Vin were also awarded The Star Award for Outstanding Service. Chef Ed Halmagyi received a special commendation for his commitment to the hunger movement, as did E.Law Australia (http://www.elaw.com.au), the Billich Gallery, Dormers Accountants, Antunes Lawyers and JAZE Digital.

'Around the World in 80 Plates' Project

The 2006/2007 Fundraising Initiative

This exciting new project is presently being presented as the new fundraising initiative. Feast2Feed will received proceeds from an e-cookbook containing recipes generously donated by some of world's most decorated chefs in the planet's most amazing destinations.

Feast2Feed funds worthy sustainable agriculture micro-projects that provide food security, not social band-aids, for worthy and accredited charity partners. We are 100% volunteer based. As the world's first e-charity, we're using the power of our grassroots network to make a difference. The money we raise is the money we give - no salaries or administrative costs are absorbed, other than normal things like bank fees, domain registration, merchant fees and what our website design company charged us to build the first site. (the cost of being in existence)
