Participate in International Dine Out Day, October 16th 2005.
Congratulations on deciding to participate in one of the World's most innovative exercises for hunger, International Dine Out Day (IDOD), October 16th. The Food & Agriculture Organization have been observing this day for 45 years calling it World Food Day, and we're taking it to a whole new level.
To become a participating organization, simply fill out the form below, and make your donation of $200 AU using our ecommerce secure facilities. We will then list you in our IDOD Directory area of our website for one year from this date of sign up. We will send a reminder of the anniversary of your renewal every year, however, we will not automatically renew you. Expect your participation packet to arrive within 4-6 weeks depending on where in the world you are located.
About a month out from IDOD, Oct.16, 2005, we will send you the awareness-building Poster, and ask you (electronically of course) if there is anything special that you are planning to do in your establishment to celebrate. We've already heard some great ones, from the Chef and staff singing for patrons, a coffee shop that is going to raise their donation from tips from patrons, a degustation dinner paired with fine wine, and a catering company organizing a large picnic. Send us your plans and we'll make sure that FRIENDS in your area know about it. If your details change, please make sure and update your information, as we take no responsibility for the accuracy to our FRIENDS of FEAST2FEED (we have no control over it, as you enter it, not us!)
Another great benefit is the opportunity to communicate with our FRIENDS. If you want to make them a special offer i.e. preferred seating, complimentary dessert, glass of bubbly on arrival, etc., please contact us. We will be sure and get that offer to them in our weekly email updates. We would also suggest that if your restaurant communicates with your patrons electronically, invite them to become part of The Legacy Project. Its free, easy, and they will appreciate your involvement and support in such a worthy cause.
